Events Management and Food Handling Responsibilities
Party Food Melbourne considers that the function host is the Event Manager. As such, the Event Manager is responsible for advising Party Food Melbourne of all particulars for food handling, access, provision of a safe working environment according to current Occupational Health and Safety requirements for deliveries, hospitality or other services booked with Party Food Melbourne.
The Event Manager is responsible for suitability of menu and special food needs. Party Food Melbourne provides many food alternatives to cater for special food requirements and religious considerations. However, there are often constraints with food preparation at your venue kitchen. Your consultant can provide specific advice for your particular event needs.
Caterers provided can only prepare food provided by Party Food Melbourne. We are unable to determine the quality or standard of food not provided by us.
Website Suitability for Minors
This website is suitable for users over 18 years of age, with the exception of our sections relating to products and services for minors. From time to time, material unsuitable for minors may be present. We are not able to prohibit a person under 18 from using the site/s, and the responsibility for access must rest with the parent or guardian of the child.
Information, Articles and Advice
Articles and advice provided are to be considered general in nature, and not specific to a particular event or purchasing decision by a customer. Information provided is not a substitute for information provided by product suppliers or service providers.
Product images are to be considered only as general representations of products supplied. Images published are as accurate as possible at the time of publication, however, elements of a product or package may change from time to time. Financials
GST
Australian GST is included in pricing quotes where applicable. Tax invoice/s can be provided for your purchase.
Deposits and Payments
A deposit is required for all bookings. This deposit confirms your commitment to the food, staffing and equipment allocated to your event for that date. Once we are fully booked for that date, new inquiries are turned away. We understand that most customers do not know final guest numbers at the time of booking, and allow for this between your booking and finalisation date. Until a deposit is received by our Accountant, any quote given is subject to confirmation of available products and services. We do experience many peak periods during the year, so always recommend booking as soon as your event date is confirmed, knowing that you can make adjustments up to 10 days prior. Deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
Finalisation of your event details and payment are due 10-14 days prior to the event.
Payment Methods
We accept direct deposit, Bankcard, Mastercard, Visacard and cash (cash payment only accepted in person).

Information provided about any third parties mentioned within this website is accurate at the time of publication and provided by the third party. Party Food Melbourne cannot be held liable for any information provided.
Return Policy
Food cannot be returned once it has left our premises. Other items are accepted for return if in original packaging, unused or undamaged, and in accordance with any state or federal law regarding return of product.
